Also you can "snapshot" the drain life meaning if you have 10k intel and drain life deals 5k tick and then you gain 20k intel the damage should remain the same.

Some interesting findings have seen light in regards to the Demonology rotation. Apparently Drain Life starts becoming a very valid filler, under some circumstances pushing over Touch of Chaos and Soul Fire (Caster) as fillers, even pushing up to the damage a Chaos Bolt does. This is primarily done by snapshotting a buff at the last moment before it expires, to ensure you get the full effect of it on one Drain Life cast.
