Suggestion: Delete Donated Gear

Dear players and developers,

I bet some of you have donated for an item and after a while you don't want the item anymore and when you try to delete you're unable to do so and the GMs can't help you out either.
A big example are rings, necklaces and trinkets from previous expansions that aren't of any use right now and just fill up a inventory or bank slot that you could use for something else.

So my suggestion is to implent a way to still be able to remove those items, after playing on the server for a while I'm sure the developers are creative enough to find a way, if that is not the case a command like ".deleteitem [itemId]" should do the trick.


BUT what if I delete an item and I want it back?
- The recover items section on the official freakz website should be able to fix that.

BUT what if I get hacked and someone else deletes my items?
- Freakz has implented enough security measures to prevent your account from getting hacked and if it still happens you should still be able to recover your items.

This is the reason I have disabled deleting donated items, it's like that on purpose, it's not a bug.

Deleted items are "marked" so you are able to do various things @ wow shop with them (item level upgrade, phase upgrade, etc). Deleting and recovering them through the item recovery script would lose the "donated item mark".

GMs can help you delete items, what are you talking about? They can delete any item from your inventory.

Bottom line: no, I will not enable donated items deletion. What I could do is partially enable it for low ilvl items, but until I see more people interested in this I won't waste time implementing this possibly unneeded option

Hi Shocker thanks for your respond, I have sent multiple tickets regarding this issue and I've gotten the same response every time: No we can't do it. That is the reason for posting this suggestion, if you say that GMs should be able to do so I'll give it another shot.

As shocker said GM's can delete any item make a ticket next time for item to be deleted and it will be done.

Mainly because GMs are not allowed to handle donations/donated gear/etc
But next time you make the ticket write exactly what we discussed here, that you want to delete old low level donated gear

The issue is solved and Lethal helped me out perfectly, I think it's now clear to me and others that have faced this issue.
