Mounts - Account bound or what?

Hello! I have a question. I am not really sure about this. So, all mounts and pets are now account bound because of the MoP extension right? Well, I tried to delete half of my characters (which I did), but most of my mounts were gone. Then I recovered the characters and I got the mounts back. Does that mean that if you delete a character you delete the mounts you got on that character as well? If yes, why is it like that? Isn't it supposed to work without losing the mounts? I really need an answer to this please! I want to delete most of my characters, but I don't want to lose my mounts.

if you delete character races such as death knights / paladins / pandarens you will loose class specific mounts

I agree with you and I think you are right. However, I just tested it again right now by deleting two more characters and I lost a mount called Big Blizzard Bear (it's not class specific). Could this be a bug?

Hello,
i think mounts you got from vote/wow shops are still bound to one character. I think its same for the mounts you got as rewards from server. Not a 100% sure.
