Russian language support?

(sorry for bad english)

Few my friends would like to play on private WoW server. In my opinion, WoW Freakz is best for playing 5.4.8 (working pets, scenarios, etc)

But this server doesn't have a russian Quests and NPC database

When I trying to play russian version of client: I cant use auction, NPCs names are English-only, Quest texts too. Translated only item names and UI

Can you make support for translated client? Examples of this feature below:

Blizzard server. Client ruRU-version on US server:

WoW Circle private server. I tested both english and russian client - all texts changed with client language:

Would you like to implement different client languages? I know at least two friends who dont know english enough to comfortable game on WoW Freakz

Did you try changing the string

to

In Config.wtf , and then do the patch for the launcher?

then just launched "wow.exe" and logged into game

You still need the \Data\ruRU\ folder with actual RU data, changing the config is useless if you don't have the RU data

The client works ok, thanks. Now the only issue is where do we get quest/creatures/etc names in russian. I'll think of a way from extracting from another server, but not sure if I can do anything like that soon

Russian WoW database located at http://ru.wowhead.com/

just add "ru." to any WoWHead link to get russian descrtiption like

@wowhead yes, but there are hundreds of thousands of quests/creatures/etc. Even if I could create a script to copy from wowhead, it probably wouldn't be as accurate as extracting data from another russian server. I'll need to bruteforce all the creatures/quests/etc on a russian server, but currently I'm not able to do that, requires some research on how to do this

In the internet many MoP server russian builds. They're barely scripted, but have russian texts in databases.

I can search for them and tell you about results - if this can help you in the translating.

some servers keeps their data in files like "full_548.13_2016_01_17.sql"

some uses many .dbc and .db2 files (screenshot below)

I if can do something usable for implementing of russian language to WoW Freakz - just tell me

If I find server data not 5.4.8 but, for example 5.2 or 6.1, can it be helpful by extracting russian text data?

I got few TrinityCore server databases with russian texts, so I can dump them to SQL

Example:

Another example of data I got
Database: Patch 5.1.0(16357) Trinity Core.

Not 100% russian, but still better than english-only

Yes, it's good (even 5.2 or 6.1 files). We'll probably not have ALL the 5.4.8 quests/creatures/etc, some is better than none

Okay. Just tell me, what tables you need. As I found, all rus text's placed in "locale_***" tables.

I'll sent you PM with all locales dumped to .SQL-files
