WoW Freakz spell link: Dark Bargain
Bug description: The spell prevent all the damage for 8 seconds but it doesn't get the 50% of the preventing damage back to the warlock..
I took 1.679.288 / 2 = 836.644 damage i should take and i only received 8 ticks 42.280 = 386.240

Nextflame maybe u will fix this asap cuz is boring at arenas sering all locks using this talent.. in arenas if u play double dps and we did 1M dmg on dark bargain target should take half of this dmg and he only get like 150k dmg back so it s rly annoyimg

Im not so sure but Isn't it because of the double dipping with resilience? I saw this online while researching trying to figure out if this is a bug or not.

I take huge damage but with my 80% resilience I take 1 000 000 dmg
then I take half so 500 000 in 8 ticks but it gets reduced again because of resilience.


"Dark bargain makes you immune to all damage for 8 seconds, and after 8 seconds fade you take 50% of that damage as a DoT. 3 minute CD.
It should also be noted that Dark bargain actually double dips from damage reduction. If you have 80 pvp resilience, that will be in effect for the duration of the spell, and when it fades the DoT will tick but the DoT actually is affected by the resilience as well, decreasing the damage it does even more."

Also at the bottom "I have tested It counts resilience twice, so dark bargain is pretty much a total dmg absorb for 8 sec, then a tiny little dot after. Used it just a short while ago vs a warrior in a duel, and the warrior was on me for the entire time, with his cd's up and everything, and when dark bargain was over, i took 700 dmg each tick... Wich is pretty much less than 50% of what he really did "

So from what I see back in mop retail days in pvp it seemed that Dark Bargain double dipped from resilience. Whereas in pve it wouldn't double dip since players normally dont have any resilience.

All i could find is that the dot itself is reduced by resilience too. If anyone finds other blizz proofs i welcome him to post this again
