Rogue spec

Hello,

I just hited 90 with my rogue, I want to test it out in pvp but also in pve. I just saw the arena ladders, why is every rogue combo in pvp, is sub bugged or what? Is combat better than sub in pvp? I assume combat is better than sub in pve, but in pvp ? If anyone has any clue to enlighten me, would be awesome.

I would also like to know why here on freakz is combat more played than sub, maybe sub is bugged ?

Still waiting some reply from a good rogue, is it me or the dmg feels a bit low ? Anyone to clarify the pve/pvp best choice atm on spec?

Regarding PvE - the main reason as to why the vast majority go for Combat is because it does not have a positional requirement as Sub does, it has excellent AoE output, it does well in single-target (quite a bit better compared to Sub), and once you start gearing it up, Assassination falls behind Combat and Subtlety. And it's not that something doesn't work correctly on Freakz, but even on Blizzard during MoP the stats were: Combat > Sub > Assassination.

Regarding PvP - just because the majority of rogues play Combat in PvP that doesn't mean that Subtlety is bugged. There was a bug a few months ago where Shadow Blades and Killing Spree did too much damage but it got fixed. When that happened, every rogue specced into Combat and most stayed in Combat because it's not that hard to play, and it's fun. But Subtlety is just as good in PvP as Combat is.

Also, the only relevant spec-related bug which has been confirmed is regarding Envenom, but the other rogue-related bugs are general, not spec-specific.
