Question about epic gems

I donated for some gems and see some that require a particular profession such as jewel crafting to equip.

If I get this gem through the website from donating, will I be able to equip it even though I don't have jewelcrafting as a profession?

Also, can I equip several of these, or only one?

Serpent's Eye gems are equippable only with Jewelcrafting at 550

You need Jewelcrafting.

Actually,
you can equip only 2 of those.
