Group Dungeon Roles sticky?

HEy all.
Is the server bugged, or is there a way to make the client remember what roles you choose when doing dungeons?
Every time my mate queues us up for a dungeon, i have to select DPS
This is not how it was on retail nor on any earlier versions of this game, anyone knows?

Hello!

This is how it works on MoP. As a druid, for example, you can chose any of those 3 roles and if you are on your dps spec when joining but you want to join the dungeon as a healer there's your chance to choose the role.

Yes yes, but on retail, it remembered what role you used the last.
So lets so i play as a druid, and i go dps in a dungeon, then we requeue for the next dungeon. It's supposed to remember that i was DPS last dungeon.
That's how it used to work. You didn't have to choose DPS every dungeon.

it's a general thing, even for classes with only dps spec, you still have to pick to go as dps. It's normal for the game to ask you what to play, he can't know what you want to join as, many people play PVE with two different specs

You guys keep repeating yourself, please read what i wrote first.

I know how it works.. but it's supposed to remember your last choice..
So that it auto ticks what you were last i.e. dps.

it is doing so. If i join as healer to a dungeon, next time i wanna join the healer role is already checked.

Did you read my whole post?
Were you in a group where the leader signed you up?
Or did you just join alone using "i"?

So this indeed is a bug? And there is no way to change this?

well yeah if u say it's so, but i don't see the problem for one click, it avoids AFK, and there are other more important things

It certainly doesn't avoid afk'ing.
Thing is, it's a bug that needs a fix, if the server wants to be blizzlike. Also, it's an annoyance when you sit a whole day doing dungeons with friends.
