Jamba for 5.4.8 version help - Multiboxing addon question

Dear fellow boxers,

I'm struggling to find a working version of Jamba with Freakz' 5.4.8 client. I've tried the latest (5.4.8.3) as well as nearly every patch previous in the expansion, and no luck.

The problem is in the hidden whisper channel, namely in pushing settings from master to slaves. The addon itself works properly as far as I can tell, but without the inter-client communications between toons, it's not really useful. Not sure if this is a hidden server-sided restriction, also, as I've known some servers that block the whisper channels Jamba uses for much of its communication.

Anyways, would love any help, or if there is a specific version number that solves this problem, or if there is something I can do on my side to get past it. I've changed the channel name and password on all toons, and sometimes get a "JambaCommunications: ChatFrame_MessageEventHandler/JambaCommunications: Team Channel: match? this: global_en: team: <mychannelname> or: <mychannelname> and not entirely sure what that's about. I never join the global channel.

I've run jamba successfully on literally every expansion previous with zero issues (other than that one aforementioned server) and would really love to a team going here but can't get past this. Again, any ideas, brainstorming, or direction is much appreciated.
