Cross faction in battlegrounds?

Hello,today i joined battleground and it was my first here.What i see,i am horde and i was with alliance?What is this?I have never seen such thing,before anywhere.This will exist in Legion realm tooo?It is very confusing.

We have enabled crossfaction battlegrounds to reduce BG queue times. So far it's very successful and we just might stick to it for Legion too.
