[Question] Legendary Drops from BGs since 21st July fixes

Just curious. I used to see at least one person get a Legendary in a Battleground every 3-5 BGs on average. Ever since the 21st July fixes I have not seen a single Legendary for anyone drop in over 150 BGs. It doesn't seem like just sheer coincidence because every person I've asked in-game so far has noticed the same thing. They don't seem to really be dropping from BGs anymore at all.

Maybe the fixes broke something related to the BG drop rate?

Before the 21st July fixes I had gotten 2 Legendaries on my DK in like 50 BGs and one on my Warrior I got one in like 15 BGs and I'd frequently (every 3-5 BGs or so) see someone get a Legendary in chat.
After the 21st July fixes I've played around 150 BGs (Warlock around 100 for example) and have not even seen a single Legendary drop for anyone in chat. Not one.

Anyone else or am I going crazy?

Confirmed bug.

Before 21st 'fixes' ive done 100 bg's and seend around 4-5 legendarys drop for people.
After fixes ive doen at least 100+ games again and seen 0 drop.

Confirmed, done way too many battlegrounds to not see a drop.
I check everytime if someone gets one, still not seen.

I already explained this but I'll explain again: BEFORE the anti badluck system, the legendary items drop chance was quite high (because we didn't have any anti badluck system and we had to somehow compensate for that). After blp was implemented, we decreased that chance to allow blp to do it's job. Long story short, during the first period after blp is implemented, there will be far less drops because this is the period when the blp system accumulates data (everyone started from 0 when we implemented blp). As soon as the blp system reaches the end of the "max farming before guaranteed drop", you will start to see an increased amount of drops.

I have been following the evolution of legendary item drops since the blp system was implemented very closely, and I've seen couple of hundreds of legendaries drop already even without the blp reaching it's full potential. My guess is the system is ok how it is right now

Aight, thanks for the explanation.

Were any of those legendaries from battlegrounds by the way? I've seen them drop elsewhere, but never in BGs anymore.

BGs have big BLP bonuses, just like heroic/mythic raids or high level m+ dungeons

does the rank in total damage / total healing effect the BLP's bonus ?
