Bug description: Vindictive Gladiator gear should have a minimum item level of 840. Even the ones awarded from Battlegrounds.
Proof: http://www.wowhead.com/legion-season-1-prestige-rewards scroll down to the table with ratings, ilvl and appearance. For future reference on minimum item levels for new seasons, I would recommend searching the other wowhead season guides.

Also as you can see here I've received an ilvl 835 warforged gladiator shoulderpiece, which most likely means base ilvl is 830 instead of 840:


UPDATE: Got a ilvl 830 gladiator trinket which confirms what I said earlier.

I think from 40 honor lvl u keep getting 840ilvl from pvp.

Right now it takes in consideration the honor lvl and is fine. Like the guy said above, from lvl 40 you get only 840.
You can't take 840ilvl if you don't have proper honor lvl.
