Name reset time

Hi
We came back after a period away, and started playing on Legion.
My kid made a Paladin, instead of a Hunter he had on the old server, and called it the same.
Then we saw the option to transfer data to Legion, we can’t use it since it’s
not the same class .
If we delete the Paladin and make a hunter instead, how long will it be till the name can be used again??
so we can name the hunter the same as on the old server??



I didnt see Legion and Mop had a forum each, so i made the same question at Mop forum... sry

I can’t remember, but are there not a way to change job (ingame or by spending $)
So he can make the Paladin a Hunter instead??
So we don’t have to make a new hunter in just a few days, to be within the date of transfer (1 of November??)

Greetings! There is no way to change your character's class. Therefore, your friend can't turn his paladin into a hunter.

You want to transfer the stuff from https://armory.wow-freakz.com/character/genesis/Jbisse ?

Jbisse (paladin - felsong) is level 22. You can delete it and create a character (blood elf hunter) with the same name.

The names are reserved only for the characters that are level 110.

Also, you can transfer the mounts and the pets without having a character...just click on the button.

For the achievements, create that a hunter on Legion (blood elf - Jbisse) and level up to 90 then click on "transfer achievements"

OOOh so its only if you want the achievements transferred you need to have a lvl 90 with the same name class etc.
The pets (ground/flying and battlepets) are linked to the account not the character???
He will be really glad to hear that.. the pets were his biggest concern
