Bug description:Shadowfiend deals way too low dmg 100-200 dmg per hit.....it s useless when I burst...please fix quickly

i wish it was that,,
that Only hit 55 max 75 per hit
ON target max will be 700k ../900k
i am wondring how that deals for y 100/200k..

Well as 885 spriest with 41300 intelect, my shadowfiend hits 36k on average noncrit and 67k crit, if thats blizzlike and not bugged, then it must be a really bad joke from whoever did spellpower inheritance coeficients for blizzard, I also consulted another priest and with 37k int his shadowfiend hit for 33k on average.

mate you probably play with mindbender bsc shadowfiend whitout talent deals 200 dmg !

Just a point of clarification: shadowfiend was from the very start and still is a shadow spell, meaning its melee attacks do shadow damage and are increased by effects that add shadow damage done to the priest, but being a melee attack it is reduced by armor and can produce a glacing blow, miss or be dodged and parried (this is the case with earlier expansions that had pets inherit hit and expertise rating form their owners, no longer the case in legion).
So beyond armor i dont see why would its attack be reduced any further in PvP considering resilliance rating doesn't exist anymore.
Actual concern here is the spell formula for stat (intelect) inheritance which could be wrong seeing that total damage of shadowfiend over its 12second duration ammounts to less than 1 cast of mind blast making it a waste of GCD instead of a 3minute dps cooldown.
Also as far as I remember shadowfiends have a spell called shadow crawl which teleports them behind a target, unless that has been removed in legion, thats also a bug, they dont have this spell on freakz.

Both pvp and pve damage being low originates in the same baseline scaling issue for this pet. So fixing it for pve will fix it for pvp too, though, for pvp it might require some fine tuning to take into account player armor and passive damage reductions etc.

Fixed it. The damage will be working with the next restart, but there are some things I couldn't do without Shocker's approval, so those fixes will be probably applied sometime tomorrow.

So what should you expect after everything's applied:
Corrected damage on Shadowfiend in general (expect a huge buff, as of now it has 65% of the owner's SP as AP, after the fix it will be 213% - AskMrRobot data) -> this will be the same for the glyphed and non-glyphed version too.
Added the same script for glyphed SF as the normal one has (it will now cast Shadowcrawl on cooldown, and will also have an increased attack speed based on haste, and now will correctly fixate on your target).
Fixed mindbender's damage (again, it had an incorrect coefficient).

The damage increase will go live soon, but as I couldn't set the script name, the fixate thing, Attack Speed calculations and Shadowcrawl will not work instantly. as said before, it will probably go live tomorrow / the day after tomorrow
