I dont know on what you base your information, but you cant rly compare since patches are different, and some things were nerfed/buffed now other classes might be bugged, and you have to look at bigger prize that being nighthold where mage is going to crush every1, unless they dont fix those bugged classes, Thise numbers look rly crazy yea mage cant compare to those numbers..

anyone can explain why this is happening? Or am i going to just get told its RNG again? It happens only to arcane blast...did someone *mess* with this spell only to try and nerf the spec or what?
The screenshots are from 2 separate tests during burst/opener, after which i stop because the nonexistant crits tilt me too much, and yes it didnt happen only these 2 times, happens very often.

Seriously?

This is borderline impossible, either the spell is bugged, the game is lying, or someone messes with my character, because this looks borderline mathematically impossible. 3 crits out of 41 casts?? with 28% crit chance in stats?? And the biggest coincidence, only this spell has this problem.

Why blink stops the cast?

Blink always stopped the cast of spells. The only one that doesn't stop spellcasting is shimmer.

It doesn't, as long as you're still facing the direction of the target.

Hello i just started on server yesterday, i used to play WOTLK and now im trying Legion.

My question is about Mage in PvP on this server, with talent spec is the best? Still frost? for PvE Fire is OK?

Hi Krozz and welcome to Freakz!

I actually still prefer Frost Mage, though there's been some awesome Fire (and even Arcane) mages topping up the damage charts in BGs. Id say all 3 specs are pretty viable right now, but if you really want to roll a FoTM, and if you mained a Frost Mage in WotLK, I'd go for a Frostie here aswell.

One last thing I wish to inform you is, that Freakz currently offers migrations for people who are new to our server - if you wish to skip the leveling part a little, feel free to apply and we'll migrate you over in no time. If you enjoy leveling however, or just want to take it slowly, since you are effectively playing 4 expansions ahead of what you've played last, leveling on your own is fine aswell. Just know that migrating is an option, and you can read all about it here.

If you've any questions or get lost in the wide array of new content that Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor and Legion brought to Azeroth, please do feel free to pay the forums a visit, and somebody will surely help you out on your journey. Greetings maidiverse.

If you're playing a Thermal Void mage, you need 33.3% crit, then as much haste as you can get. Mastery is useless.

If you're playing a Glacial Spike mage, then mastery is the way to go.

Hi, I wanted to play a caster dps class and out of the classes, Shadow Priest, Warlock and Mage, I think mages suit me better and I was wondering which spec should I focus more on for mostly PVE stuffs such as World Quest and raiding. Thank you!
