Launcher ErrorCode: 5 (FreeBSD 11.1)

Hello,

I have wine staging 2.19 installed and working for all my World of Warcraft clients.

I followed all the steps described here: https://forum.wow-freakz.com/view-post-5492846.html

I did make sure that the read only wasn't on the Data folder. Also, I did make sure to delete the launcher files in the WoW_Legion-torrent folder BEFORE copying the new launcher_23420 files into it.

When I launch the game in the terminal I have this error:

ErrorCode: 5 ERROR: Can't get path of the process' exe, ErrorCode: 5 Can't determine wow version, you're probably running an unsupported version, contact us on the forum https://www.wow-freakz.com/forum

I have this error when launching the game with the following methods:

Method A:

$ cd ~/.wine/drive_c/WoW_Legion/ $ wine launcher_freakz.exe

Method B:

Code:

$ wine ~/.wine/drive_c/WoW_Legion/launcher_freakz.exe

The game is running fine, I can logging but I got disconnected ingame because it says that the launcher is not running.

Any help is appreciated.

What if you launch wow.exe then launch launcher_freakz.exe (so it injects itself in the already running wow.exe) ?

P.S.: Unfortunately there's not much help we can offer with wine...
