About artifact wepons for mages

Hi folks, Am a returning wow og with brief tbc & wotlk (no dung or raid in those expansions) so am a noob again, looking for some sound advice

I have been adding power points to the fire artifact weapon only 2 or 3 atm, but fancy swapping to arcane, will i gimp my self if i try and swap adding point between the two? am just not sure what will be my fav in dung or raids .

Hey, i belive that the best way is that u just focus on a main spec Better then just wasting artifact power. Why? The first traits on your artif don't consume lots of AP but after getting 30-4o traits you'll need lot and alot of ap.

i suggest to invest your ap to the spec you like most, then focus on another spec if needed. I suggest you to try frost spec. Since it seems to be doing good dps

at the beginning ,I think the fire spec is better because it is very good in mythic plus . The frost is also good at single target only. But like lethal said play what you like

Hmm.. i'm using arcane mage currently, anyone know how to gain ap the fastest?
