Really new player

Hello guys. I tried to find server with the newest content - Legion. That's why I decided to choose this server. So basically I never played WoW. I mean... my highest level at global is like 10 or 12 - something like that. I never bought Battlechest etc cause I wasnt enough convinced to play WoW. I never felt that game is so good, maybe its because of my low lvl and that I didnt achiev end game etc. First of all what I find is the funniest part it WoW are raids - like party of people, roles, and loot. That's why I love in all MMO. I have few questions about server and gameplay so I would really appreciate if anybody can reply to me.

1. First of all - Is it possible to achieve something on the server without the knowledge of WoW? I really have no idea about WoW, further locations, raids etc. Im really, really new and wonder can I learn it here or I just must move to global and check everything there?

2. Classes - I think my favourite role in MMO are healer and DPS. It depends on how the role looks in the game. Probably in WoW I would choose DPS over healer but I'm not sure about that. So... does anybody can help me with class, role and race?

3. Addons, tips, guides(?) - if anybody have any tips, addons or stuff like that which can be really helpful for begginner I would really appreciate it to put link here.

I think the most important question for me is 1 cause as I mentioned before I really, really NEW and I dont have a huge knowledge of WoW.

2. Depends on what you like to play. I'd suggest rogue / paladin / DK / hunter / mage = dps AND paladin / shaman / druid = heal.

I may add the suggestion to try a druid. It's really easy to heal / dps / tank with it. And you can fill any role, from melee to caster.

Must have addons:

1) https://www.wow-freakz.com/addons-deadly-boss-mods-dbm-a147.php - dbm knows every fight ( so when to interupt, other phases of the fights )
2) https://www.wow-freakz.com/addons-gtfo-a152.php - GTFO will warn you when you stand in stuff you don't need to stand in and announce that with a annoying sound
3) https://www.wow-freakz.com/addons-vuhdo-a197.php - Vuhdo a click addon to add your healspells in to react fast

Im gonna try DPS Druid but Im not sure which I should take. I think Balance and Feral are for DPS and Guard is tank. What do u advice?
