Please post here any bug you found regarding The Nighthold: High Botanist Tel'arn encounter, Normal, Heroic, Mythic

High Botanist Tel'arn

  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where Parasitic Lashers were not doing anything once they were spawned on mythic difficulty.
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where Solar Collapse radius was slightly bigger than the visual.
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where cooldowns were not reset upon boss reset/wipe.
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where hunters could not clear spores with Aspect of the Turtle.
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where Call of Night/Collapse of Night was being cast on 3 players instead of 2.
  • [FIXED] Boss perimeter radius added to the encounter. (Cheaters!)
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where Controlled Chaos was not dealing damage to players who were not standing in the main area of damage.
  • [FIXED] Addressed the issue with Recursive strikes

Botanist deal too much damage by autoattacks and another forms benefit from recursive strikes

Wondervicce is right, only the melee attacks from High Botanist Tel'Arn / Arcanist Tel'Arn should actually transfer damage to the debuffed tanks. Melee attacks from Naturalist/Solarist shouldnt count. We apologize for overlooking this issue.

Bug: should be 2 debuffs instead of 3
retail proof: watch at 1:10, in all 3 phases there should be only 2 debuffs at once, did not test in phase 2 and 3 yet.

Bug: Only arcanist boss should benefit from this effect, right now the damage on the tank is insane because when you switch at usually 6 stacks, each tank takes up to 90% of the other tank damage .
It should work like this: arcanist is applying debuffs on melee hit(WORKS) , only arcanist should benefit from this effect so no solaris and no naturalist.
Retail logs as guardian druid: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/7dkG2Yf86pZMbNJD#fight=33&&type=damage-taken&&source=6 , you can see recursive strike avarage is around 350k and in our tries , our 905 guardian dudu got around 800k average hit , myself too 750k average hit as prot pala
Also the melee damage seems huge , looking at the logs , average hit is 550k while on freakz is around 850k , with maximum hits of even 2M, idk how to say but the bosses in antorus mythic are doind 2M on melee hit right now in 7.3.2...

Bug: the range of the explosion is way too big , should be only 4 yards but it's really hard to avoid them, maybe the speed is too high towards the centre of the explosion or just the radius is too high , can't really recall

Bug : Turtle aspect should protect from applying stacks of toxic spores , should be included in the deflect attacks category , i repeat , it should only prevent the application of the stack not removing it from you if you already have one
Retail proof:
look at 5:45 , the hunter used turtle and soaked a bunch of spores and no dmg no stacks on him.
I am not sure about other immunities, bubble from pala works, spellward works, iceblock works, cloak of shadow works , i don't know about Anti-magic shell , gonna test it today

Toxic Spores should be castable while moving (atm the boss is standing still and casts it) making the fight a bit harder cuz it overlaps with Grace of Nature and the boss is standing on top of it casting and getting healed

We couldn't find any approach to address this issue. So, for now we won't change anything about it.

Fixes live after restart!
