Bug description: despite the fact that taking damage actually reduces the Marrowrend's stacks of the Dk, Marrowrend doesn't reduce the damage taken
Proof:

stacking marrowrend up to 10 is possible and works; if i take damage the stacks decrease as they should but we noticed that the damage is not reduced at all

bone shield works just fine it's just that the damage reduction is shown as absorb on each hit

On the screenshot you can see that boneshield simply counts as a an absorb towards any damage taken:
10049 (1913) absorbed --> 10049 + 1913 = 11962 and 16% of 11962 is 1913 therefore the damage absorbtion is working correctly
