Bug description: so i made a trial hunter to decide between mm or bm and i think i might have found a problem with bm aoe rn (which might explain why it's kinda weak) it's only affected by auto attacks which is fine for hati but the main pet's basic attacks like bite/slap should also spread as beast cleave also procs from them (which was already fixed)
Proof: i did some digging in the forums and some said that's it auto attacks only and some said it's both
but according to wowhead and some commenters it should be both

but most importantly is askmrrobot
according to it in the filter section it should use autoattacks and bite (melee attack)

P.S idk if this because of armor but for some reason the beast cleave is not 100% of the value of melee as according to the tooltip
boar melee is 2276 while beast cleave is 1567
hati is also seems iffy because he's doing doing even less for some reason even lower than 75%
if it proves to be an issue i'll make a seperate bug topic

Just to sum up: everything you said is wrong

Beast Cleave is Physical damage, so obviously it is reduced by armor.
And Hati is supposed to deal only 75% of the damage with Beast Cleave. Check the following log from retail (done just now on retail)

You'll see that my Cat did 38086 damage. That reduced by 30% (armor) is 26660. Now add the 40% from trait => it's at 36k.
Same for Hati, but instead he does: 38086 * 0.75 = 28564. Reduced by 30% armor => 19995. Now add the 40% from trait => 27k

Check the screenshot and look for the damage done on Training Dummy and not on Dungeoneer's Training Dummy (as that one has a tiny bit more armor, so damage is lower).

And finally: Basic attacks from the pet actually proc Beast Cleave on our server as well. But on our server, it's written in a reverse order in your combat log, in the following format.
"Your pet's Beast Cleave hit the target for X damage"
"Your pet's Claw hit the target for Y damage"

same for autoattacks. it's always beast cleave first and then the autoattack or basic attack (proc for beast cleave happens before the actual hit lands)
