A question on soulbound items

So the second time (first time was a flop since I had no idea that Malygos will disapear quickly if you do not loot him quickly) I went for Malygos I was going with the full intention of getting the mount. Did not have much inspiration for anything else. However, my second time was on my mage. The two things that dropped were Hailstorm and Barricade of Eternity. http://www.wowhead.com/item=40475/barricade-of-eternity
Now, Hailstorm automatically was placed into my collection but of course the shield was not and unfortunately it is soulbound. I can't equip it. Is there a way to get around this so I can transmog it for my pally or do I have to grind it on toons that can use shields?

Thanks for the answer. Well...gotta get to it...Malygos isn't just going to mail me the shield. lol
