Bug description: The target should not be able to parry the appocalypse or dodge it , especially in pve content.The appocalypse miss sometimes too so that should not happen ...., this beeing a huge lost for unholy in pve and pvp too.

This is a very important spell for this spec like the sindragosa's fury for the frost dk.

bring me proof from retail that it shouldn't be parried. it's a melee ability, it seems only normal to be able to parry it

Let me tell u this , can u show me someone on retail that missed/parryed/dodged apocalypse? No u cant, because they realised that missing/parrying a 1.5min cd spell isnt a great ideea.

Every melee attack has a chance to miss, to be dodged, to be parried, to be blocked, to be a glancing blow, to be a critical, and to be a crushing blow. Anything left over is an ordinary hit. Ranged attacks work the same way, but cannot be parried, glanced, or blocked.

I asked on retail and a feral confirmed that he sometimes gets his Rip parried which is a bleed so the mechanic stands like it says, if you attack from the front any melee ability can parry.

So what AskMrRobot says is, you can actually miss/parry/dodge the damage part, but the summoning of the dark army can NEVER miss (aka it should always consume Festering Wound stacks). Will fix it
