Bug description: Hex breaks too easy

in this video at 4:47 and 10:07 the shaman uses hex on the druid and his HP goes down by 1% twice respectively 3% and the hex still does not break.
On freakz the Hex breaks from the single tick of damage. Testing the spell with a warlock dot, the hex breaks on the first tick of a single dot.

The 2 screenshots were taken in immediate succession. You can see looking at the tooltip of hex that the spell has been used(reflected on myself) and it broke so fast from the single dot that was affecting me that I couldn't even screenshot myself being polymorphed.
This bug makes shaman have a huge problem in any type of pvp encounter.

I've made my own tests on retail, and hex is supposed to break on the first damage instance. I have 6.5M HP in PvP, i got hexed, then asked a resto shaman to melee me... he did like 2k damage, which is nowhere even close to 1%, and yet hex broke. I trust myself more than youtube videos

Even though I don't doubt what you are saying, I believe we are talking about different patches, hex has been known to be a hard break cc from the beginning of time. I understand that you trust yourself more but that video is still a live blizzard 7.1.5 experience

Look at 4:43 here on the following video... Rogue gets hexed there, if you pause the video and go frame by frame (pressing ">"), you'll see that hex breaks on the FIRST bloodlet tick after it has been applied, while his HP doesn't even move downwards (1% or 2% at most)... We can keep linking videos where once it breaks instantly, once it doesn't, that's why I don't really trust videos, but myself.

at 1:03 you can see the hex from hex totem being used, the paladin HP goes down by 3% and the hex does not break, just tested on freakz with hex totem and it also broke on the single tick of damage

In the video you linked the rogue got dispelled, the dot also disappears with the hex

Lol, look at the paladin. he's "hexed" nicely, even though it does not show anywhere else but on the addon. He's casting holy light and tyr's deliverance after, while the addon shows "hexed".

in the video you posted the hex got dispelled, the dot also was removed.

Okay, look at your own damn video then and see where is hexed removed. he was hexed on 93.6% hp, got damaged to 91.8% and the hex was removed

No offence, but going back to the first video, the hex still stays on the target for more than 1% while in the video you linked me the hex was dispelled, coming from the pvp community not only myself, we all have been shocked after the update was live on freakz

Tell me please who the hell dispelled hex? As the druid's dispel cannot remove hex (it's curse not magic). Lock can't dispel magic other targets, not even with imp

In the video you linked of cdew at 8:30 he hexes the druid, the dot from the warlock was reapplied just as the hex was going off and the druid stood in it for good 3 seconds

@quicksand, druids and shamans are the only 2 classes capable of dispelling curses from the beginning of world of Warcraft:(

Im only here to help and I'm one for the better change and for the blizzard expierence, on this patch hexes do not break from the fist tick, of course it was bugged before and it was breaking way too late, but not it makes it a useless spell

I'm glad I could help, gonna keep working on all those small details, hope you can change and one of us might find the right percentage for when the hex to break, I am pretty sure its only after a 3% total hit of current HP but I might be wrong

I've been looking at bajheera's videos where he plays with the shaman, there are occasions where the target takes 1-1.5% damage only, and Hex does not break. So yeah, it's either 2% or 3%. Will keep looking

I've found a place where a rogue is hexed, takes 0.5%, then 1.6% and still got hex, then it takes another 1.1% and hex breaks. so after 2.1% it didn't break, on 3.2% it was broken. Will change it to 3% then
