Website Shop and Ingame Shop

Is there any difference that if you donate on website, for example 5 BiS items or that if you just donate money for the ingame shop?

I ask this because you get a small discount if you buy something that is more worth through the website then just buying items 1 by 1 in the ingame shop.
And if so, and it is cheaper to buy 5 BiS items in the webshop, is it possible to devide the 5 BiS items over several toons? Or is it just for 1 toon only.

Ingame shop only offers you the possibility to get items 1 by 1. Website also offers package deals (2, 3, 5, etc) items at a discounted price.
No, you can't spread package items over several toons
