Bug description: The pet's damage is very, VERY dynamic, it is not static at all, with 0 buffs or me attacking the target, the pet has chances to hit between 100% harder (e.g.: once it hits 150k HITS, once it hits 300k HITS)

Should the formula scale dynamically? Since I change no buffs or debuffs or procs during the pet's duration, the damage should be constant. The total damage is underwhelming, on a duration of 40 seconds with 23 total casts, the pet does between 3-4M total damage, on a full 929/40k strength/132% mastery.

3.0 * 0.46625 * TotalAttackPower * TotalPetDamageMultiplier * MasteryValue(DeathKnightUnholyShadow,true)

It's not dynamic, it has a high delta scaling multiplier (meaning its damage has a large interval of variance)
I believe it's the same on retail, 'ill check it

Even though, the total damage done by the pet it's ridiculous, the variance is incredibly high, I am unsure if that is the main problem or the formula is not applied properly.

Also, that 300k on your log was surely a crit and not a hit. Open your combatlog and check it there. There is a big variance, yes, but it can't hit for 110k and 300k, you're doing something really weird. My gargoyle hits between 110-140k, which is not that much of a variance. It crits for double, which is normal

As you can see the damage for Gargoyle is too low on my Reccount for a 3 min cd and the legendary shoulders on live at least doesn't seem to work correctly.

Of course, maybe i'm wrong, but in those two videos you can see clearly that it doesn't make any difference at all with or without the shoulders.

About legendary sholders I can confirm that 30% inc damage does not have any impact I have the same damage.

As Nyndra says the Gargoly damage is very low.. can anyone check that on retail how much damage it has without any buffs, or that is how it should be.

The damage is NOT low at all, AskMrRobot tells us that it has 0.46 times the owner's AP as its spellpower, on our server it's even higher (it's 50% as of now). So if something at all, it does more damage than intended.

I have 20619 Attack Power and 32.03% mastery, so the formula looks like this:

3.0 * 0.5 * 20619 * TotalPetMultiplier * 1.3203 = 40834 * TotalPetMultiplier

In my case, TotalPetMultiplier is 1, because I do not have any aura that would modify my pet's damage (for example the 20/20 trait). Out of curiosity I did a test with 20/20 on that trait as well, this is the result: https://imgur.com/a/wvkOe

So instead of 43k avg I get 49k, which indicates that the TotalPetMultiplier is working as well (43 * 1.145 = 49.235).

The only thing that COULD affect the pet's damage is the legendary shoulders, I will check that out.
I reduced the variance from 50% to 10%, because I checked it on retail, there's only around 10% variance there, unlike here (where it's 50%), so the damage will be a lot more stable

The only thing that you can possibly get out of this report is me nerfing the Gargoyle's damage, because we have a higher AP to SP conversion than it is said on AskMrRobot. You kinda played yourselves

So the recap: lowered variance to 10% to get a more stable damage

Made Tak'theritrix's Command apply even to newly summoned pets after using DT on main pet (before it worked correctly only if you used DT after summoning Gargoyle)
