Bug description: In my opinion the dmg of the discipline priest artifact spell is way too low. If used correctly it should be able to output an enormous number of healing via atonement.
My assumption is that the 10% dmg increase is not stacking correct.
Let's take 13 atonements as example cuz my proof later has this:

Formula should be:

Damage = 7 * TotalSpellPower * TotalDamageMultiplier * (1 + 0.1 * BuffCount(Atonement))

If i calculate it myself: 593615 x 1.13 x (1+ (13 x 0.1)) = 670784 x 2.3 = 1542805 (x1.13 is the dmg increase from [Sins of the Many] trait)
I did a critical hit so it is 1542805 x 2 = 3085610 ~ 3m dmg
So the spell crit should do 3m and not 1.47m dmg.

I don't know how you calculate the dmg, but it's simply wrong.

At 1:07 he is casting is artifact with 13 atonements as you can see on his plea.
The spell hits trilliax for 2.37m crit healing his raid for up to 1.26m via atonement.

As you can see the video date 11.02.2017 is it recorded during 7.1.5 and it's imposibble that he has 928 gear as my test char.
So my dmg should be even much higher than his. Like the 3m crit if my calc is correct, which sounds realistic for a bis char using the "strongest" aoe healing spell from disc.

UPDATE: I even forgot to add the trait [Sins of the Many] which increases all dmg by 1% for each atonement in my calculation. (added it)

UPDATE 2: I made new screenshots with better calculation and askmrrobots formula.

also can confirm this , SMITE which have 2x shorter cast time , cost no mana and have no CD doing almost the same dmg as lgihts wrath...

Yeah sure...

Let me explain it to all of you. Due to exploit reasons, Light's Wrath will NOT count atonements applied to NON-PLAYER controlled units. Such as all those guards there. If you have however 15 players (or their pets, whatever, as long as it's controlled by a player) affected by atonement, you'll deal 150% more damage, exactly as you should. But this is NOT the reason why people don't play Discipline I am sure. You are inventing bugs that don't even affect your gameplay whatsoever in situations where it matters. In raid/dungeon/pvp environment you won't be surrounded with random NPCs anyway, so unless you are testing in orgrimmar on a dummy, where your atonement targets are bystander NPCs, the spell will work perfectly. I will reject this, because the spell works correctly as long as you are not cheesing damage with random npcs, and no, I won't allow players to come up with smart exploits on how to apply atonement to non-player controlled units to boost Light Wrath's damage.
