next patch items

hey guys, on the next patch when max item level will increase, the current donated items will be upgraded too? for example a player with donated Draught of souls 925 will be able to upgrade it to 940(or the max ilvl wich will be, I don`t know it exactly) ?
if this happens, won`t these be custom items?

"You will be able to upgrade your BIS items FOR FREE to ilvl 930/940 items of the same type (ilvl 925 trinket => ilvl 940 trinket, etc) when we implement Tomb of Sargeras or even higher when switch to a new Legion patch!"

They are not custom, even on blizz you had a very low chance to get an item like that.
