Since i'm migrating, what's the difference between them? Isn't it that legion has pvp templates and your pve is your pvp gear?

There isn't any big difference, it's quite the same thing.

Anyway, you'll get better gear from world quests, dungeons, pvp, raids, etc.

PvE item vs PvP item (800 ilvl version)
