[FIXED] [Multiple] Dodge/Miss/Parry vs Necrotic

Bug description: Dodge should affect necrotic buffs, you dodge the attack it still applies a debuff on you. Not only monk thing same for everyone who has dodge. The debuff should work for every autoattack that goes trough and deals dmg to the character.

I don't think you yourself read the screenshot you posted.

The first line which clearly says - Necrotic Rot is applied on each "successful" melee attack against you.
pretty sure that dodging does not count as "successful" melee attack

Now, the part that you highlighted.

Elusive Dance can dramatically reduce the amount of necrotic rot stacks you are taking

If you didn't know Elusive Dance is a talent which increases the reduction of delayed damage by purifying brew by and additional 15% BUT it also grants 20% dodge for 6 secs based on the purification. https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=196738 (wowhead link)
I believe in that statement the part of 20% dodge is emphasized, because it says, dramatically reduce the amount of necrotic rot "stacks".
If it was referring to the 15% purification part then it would have said necrotic rot "damage".
Your own highlighted line suggests that dodge indeed works for necrotic pretty well.


To be fair though in all the lines in that screenshot nowhere did i find that dodged melee attacks should stack necrotic.


EDIT : I read your post again and i got a little confused as to what you are trying to suggest.

first you say- Dodge should affect necrotic ( which to me means that dodge should work against necrotic)
then you say- you dodge the attack it still applies a debuff on you.
and then- The debuff should work for every autoattack that goes trough and deals dmg to the character.

Please be clearer as to what you are trying to say.

Dodged attack should not apply necrotic. It applies here on the server.

Confirmed, attacks that do not connect shouldn't apply Necrotic
