Bug description: Kil'jaeden's Burning Wish has a "critical strike" for a purpose there. It needs a single target to do its direct damage critical strike. Thus it shall trigger the Heating up and Hot streak.


Proof: A proof is that the Burning Gaze trait (Fire Mage again) affects this item for good, as it should be. Since this item's effect is considered a Fire damage spell (and it's a direct spell), it should activate your Hot Streak/Heating up every time.

How did you think that KJBW is DIRECT damage? Hot Streak and Heating Up only activate from single target spells, this one is AoE. Burning Gaze affects this item, because it's a crit damage modifier, but Hot Streak/Heating Up have a very specific mechanism, which DO NOT include items at all. Only Pyroblast, Fireball, Scorch, Fire Blast and Phoenix's Flames
