Bug description: You should remove stacks of necrotic on trash mobs, but while fighting a boss this should not happen.

If you have any game knowledge you should know that when the boss is active there is no way you can go out of combat during it, but since you asked http://i.prntscr.com/mEqW-EWmSgyaebGV_T9bZA.png .

The necrotic change in Mythic+ happened in 7.1.5..... It doesn't matter if the proof is from 7.3.5, as necrotic has not changed how it's worked since 7.1.5


As soon as you drop combat you should drop all your necrotic stacks. That is it.

You cannot drop combat during a bossfight, since you are in combat until it resets.

The best option you can use shadowmeld for is to get the boss/mobs to drop aggro on you giving you a few seconds to drop your necrotic stacks if they're about to expire, to then grab the boss again.

It's a general bug actually , it happens on shadowmelt / vanish / feign death you are getting out of combat in boss encounters on dungeons , i think they dont got any ideea how to fix that tbh . So gl with that .
