WoW Freakz spell link: Shadow priest Tier 19 set bonus.
Bug description: On retail shadow priest with 4set tier 19 was able when spaming void bolts when entering voidform extend pain & vampiric on target( i had vampiric 2 min debuff on Gul dan), but here on freakz its just exteding to 3 sec and not going any more then originally applyed dots. #

I've been testing this alot last week and i really couldn't find a 100% plausible explanation to why you can't extend vt&sw:p to over 50 seconds. It can be that the dots duration goes down faster the more haste you have, or even just baseline goes down faster without it being affected by haste, i know dot duration isn't affected by haste normally. It can also be the extend part of the voidbolt that's lower than 3.1 which explains that in the video you sometimes go +4 seconds on both buffs, cause if the void bolt hits the target at 13.9 seconds it goes to 17.

@Quicksand can you give us a hint to why this happens please?

Update: So i looked more into it and i found out some things.

in this video you can see @0:14 when he enters voidform that the cooldown on the spell on action button 3 (which is void eruption + void bolt macroed with a different tooltip image) imediately resets when it transitions from void eruption to void bolt. This doesn't happen on freakz, you still have the cooldown of void eruption on void bolt, this might be the issue.

No, that's GCD. If you look at your own video, lower right corner-ish, you can see that Voidform invokes GCD, and he can't cast Void Bolt immediately

Yes it does invoke gcd but on freakz you also have cooldown on void bolt, the gcd part works well. You should be able to use void bolt as soon as gcd is over, on freakz currently you can cast a mind blast or reapply dots before void bolt comes off cd..

I think main problem is travel time,since if am standing in meele u can get your dots up to 40 sec on VP, but if ur standing on range u can't get anywhere near that time.

hm.. I was doing a bit of research and this is actually really hard to figure out. Usually players on all the videos I watched used some sort of global cd right after void eruption and then use void bolt (which inclines towarwds the fact that they can't void bolt immediatly but i couldn't confirm it 100%)

watch his void eruption / void bolt on at 05:16, he does not use a gcd on any spell right after void eruption and you can see all his other spells are available to be used, however void bolt is on it's own gcd after void eruption.
It might have something to do with the video you linked being on a diferent patch? @verdictus

The video is from 7.1.5, when nighthold was released and it is from the first week of mythic.
