Invalid, its updating on the tooltip.

Tested it, damage does get increased in correct amounts. If it isn't increasing your damage in correct amounts try re-equipping your artifact weapon, as this will reapply the passive effects.

And what Jijing said is also true, damage increases are taken into account by tooltips.
