Details: So i had this quest in my quest log for some time ( like 5-6 months ) but i've never bother doing it but now I need the appereance token wich is quest reward https://www.wowhead.com/item=143518/ensemble-funerary-plate-of-the-chosen-dead and the quest decided to say no to me.
Farmed the soul fragments for almost 3 hours to get only 950 but quest saying 1000/1000 and those 50 are nowhere to be found and I can't farm them anymore.
Please help me with this.

Put the soul fragments into the bank and retake them, the counter should work properly again
