[REJECTED] LvL 4 Pandaria quest The Spirit's Guardian

Bug description: quest is not triggering, no flames to dodge, and the flame wall is still in place preventing completion of quest.

I am not able to progress in the Pandaria questline until I can complete this quest

I have followed the below guide:

And found that I did not perform this questt: The Lesson of the Burning Scroll

Going back to the quest giver (Master Shang Xi), that quest is not available... ( track hidden quests is checked, and no quest available)

somehow i had the masters flame .. but was not able to interact with the scroll to complete the quest that I didnt have.

I deleted and recreated the character... and ran in to the same issue, following the guide...

One thing I noticed, " The Lesson of the Burning Scroll - right after taking the quest the Master's Flame will spawn and you'll have to "steal" it; afterwards go upstairs and "burn" the Edict of Temperance"
completed immediately, I did not have to perform the actions...


When I redid the steps, my daughter joined me on her Pandarian Priest and we both have the same problem...

I have gone back and visited all of the quest givers, and still cannot proceed past this point.

check after restart.

Abandon quest >delete wow cache and retake it

Abandoned the quest, Deleted the Cache folder, and re-accepted the quest...

I'm having the same problem... i can level up mi monk :/

All you have to do is mouse over the two pilers on either side of the ramp and you'll see a gear, click on it and it will open the path for you to get through, there are a couple of section like that in the Pandaren starting area
