higher gear than 860

people want for raids 880+ but best i can get is 860 from world quests. Am i missing something?

dungeons and lfr doesn't give more than 860. Even if it did, how to reach 900 ilvl that's generally wanted?

You can do mythic dungeons to get better gear, if you make your own group / guild group it's overall easier

i don't even know what is this thing about mythics, and i can't join one with current gear as 860 ilvl.

If you make your own group you can invite who you want, just get a 2 key and push it as much as you can. Gearing up takes week or months. Don't expect it to be done in seconds

playing for a few weeks for now, but just doing world quests and heroic dungeons, and some battlegrounds.

don't know what mythic is about, don't know about those keys either, so can't make my own group. Also, every group and guild wants 880+

If you do a mythic dungeon you obtain a key, and you can push that as much as possible for a weekly chest reward
