Bug description: good ... what happens is that I made the dungeons in normal and heroic repeatedly and they did not release the items of the mission

same problem for me...have tried numerous times, normal...heroic...relogged...in a dungeon - not in a raid...still won't drop for me.

updating my post in case in helps debug this, or helps others trying to complete the quest.

I abandoned the quest...took it again...re-did dungeon -> still no drop.

I tried again doing the following:

ran past all the mobs, just killed the 2 prior bosses and a couple mobs that followed me.

I am a caster, so I usually am at a distance from the boss when I kill him. On my successful attempt, I walked up to him and melee'd him down (no casting). The item dropped. Don't know if it was distance from boss at the kill time or not, but getting close and melee killing him with my staff did get the item to drop.

**** One more update for those trying to complete the quest:
**** - When I abandoned the quest, the other 2 quest items that were in my bank bags got deleted.
**** - So many quest items are never deleted, that I thought they would be safe in my bank, but I guess not. There is likely no need to abandon the quest to fix the problem - so don't
