Dreamleaf & Aethril rank 3 problem

Hi all

I have a problem with getting rank 3 quest items for Dreamleaf and Aethril. It doesn't drop after a very long time of farming, when Foxflower, Starlight Rose & Frajnskaggl quest items are very fast to drop. It's just low drop rate or I have to do something different from just farming regular nodes? I met another players having the same problem. Thanks in advance for any replies

There's quite a few people that were able to get rank 3 on both of those, so you might just be unlucky.

Maybe, but it's strange that these two plants are more difficult to rank up

I can confirm for Dreamleaf.

I farmed over 10k of it on the 2nd rank and it still hasn't dropped the 3rd star upgrade.

Another thing, quest item for Dreamleaf rank 3 - Blight-Choked Herb shouldn't drop from gathering corpses or mobs directly?
Website shows it drops from this https://www.wow-freakz.com/item_finder.php?item=129141&name=blight-choked-herb , not from this https://www.wow-freakz.com/object_finder.php?object=244775&name=dreamleaf .
