Bug description: It says that to complete the quest you need Ragnar's Rune and/[b]OR the grapple gun, which I have happened to deleted from my inventory. When I try to turn in the quest with the rune, it won't let me do it, even though it says the gun is OPTIONAL.
Proof: Just check it, I am not lying.
