Please look at minute 1:00, you can clearly see polymorph and immediately in the next GCD he uses Arcane Orb, which damages the polymorphed target but never breaks CC.

Sorry for double posting, but I want to add another reason why this is a bug besides the retail proofs which should be more than enough to confirm this.

Since Legion 7.2.5 was introduced, arcane mages received a new artifact called Time and Space (https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=238126 (wowhead link))

Have the following situation: I arcane explosion and a melee is on top of me, I blink poly, then after 6 seconds poly is broken automatically by the artifact. To avoid this on retail you had to blink->poly and immediately (next GCD) after landing the poly, cast Arcane Explosion so the echo-artifact doesn't break your CC.

At minut 5:27 you can see Pollymorph / Arcane explosion
At minut 5:55 you can see Pollymorph /Arcane orb

The fact is that if you cast right at same time it shouldn't break the Polly (srry my bad english hope you understand)
