Black Temple - Illidan

As the title says, for the life of me I can't find a way to do Illidan, I tried at least 7 times and failed every single time, even when I brought people who did it in the past they failed.

Can someone either explain how to do it or help me themselves after the reset

I remember trying to do him for the Green Flame chain quest with my warlocks, and the only problem i had was that after 7 minutes, the buff he applied to me would whipe me out... The problem was that i had a high level warlock, and a low level one. The high one, no problem i could deal with him, before the 7 minutes run out. The low one was another story, although he was never close to killing me, 7 minutes were not enough to kill him, and as of it, i would be killed. Searching through wowhead, investigating the buff he applied, i found out that there was a potion that would dispel the buff... the only problem was that as soon as i applied the potion he would cast it again. But no problem, i would wait around 6 mins and use the potion, then i would have another 7 mins to deal with him, and so i did... the potion was Purification Potion: https://www.wowhead.com/item=13462/purification-potion and the buff illidan applied was https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=138558 (wowhead link) .
