The correct description:
Places a dark ward on an enemy player that persists for 12 sec, triggering when the enemy next spends mana on a spell, and allowing the Death Knight to unleash an exact duplicate of that spell.

Bug description: debuff on the enemy should be continuously, if the enemy uses something, it must be a steal. If it uses something that can't be stolen, debuff goes missing, it shouldn't work that way.

Proof: debuff should be on the enemy for 12 seconds, or has to copy the spell

a good example of what Dark Simulacrum should not be lost due to the fact that the warlock imposed Unstable Affliction, Yes it should not have been copied, but Dark Simulacrum should be on warlocks as Debuff all 12 seconds

I tested it today. With a mage , from the video you linked a mage was blinking and he couldn't steal the blink from him but the Dark Simmulacrum was still on the target . On freakz currently it disappears after someone uses a spell that usually cannot be stolen .
But concerning the Mind control it worked for me

Confirmed . Dark Simmulacrum should be consumed after a spell that consumes mana was succesfully stolen .
