Problem on a character

I've reported a bug about it, but just wanted to ask if it would be possible to reset class hall advancements somehow.

You can switch them for x order resources and wait for the research.

The NPC doesn't work because of the quest state. It just says hello, and the quest the character has needs, unupgraded troops, while it has the upgrade, bought back in 7.2.5 when the class hall NPC would let you buy upgrades regardless of quest state. That's the real problem, can't continue the class hall campaign without it, should I wait for the fix or is there something staff can do about it.
