That could've very well been a client-side visual bug. Make sure to check what's keeping you in combat through the ".debugcombat" command.

Seems Odyn might be keeping people in combat. Could not reproduce the issue myself, will look around and leave this thread open for more responses.

When I put mouseover skovalds dead corpse, he was on threat to me. Odyn was not idk

The threat indicator has been known to not display accurate information, it's a visual bug. You can only ever be certain by using the command mentioned above.

Considering no one else posted anything since the creation of this topic, I will assume the issue was either an anomaly or not actually caused by the boss, but by combat with other mobs in the instance.
