Guild Vault Problems

Hi there, we have a guild called South Africans. The guild was created by a friend of ours about a year ago I think. Recently I joined them from retail and was made guild leader.

I created the ranks and did the setup as normal, but now I see that no one can see anything in the vault. The only thing they can do is deposit gold. On my main char I can access and do everything, but on my alts I have the same problem as the rest of the members. It also seems that the guild is not getting the points it should to grow.

Can anyone please assist us with this. Thank you in advance.

Can confirm. Although it is slightly more severe than just the guild vault.

Having tried it several times now, I can confirm that a server restart will, in fact, ruin guild vault permissions and it will also remove any new ranks, reverting the guild back to the default list of ranks. And the destruction of guild vault permissions, in my experience at least, does also extend to the guild leader position.

I cannot confirm this being the case on older guilds but I've confirmed it twice now with a freshly created guild since 7.3.5 that a server restart does exactly what I described. As to what is going on exactly? If I had to guess, some sort of initialization is off. Either during server start or, more likely, during guild creation. Whichever the case may be, as of 7.3.5, new guilds will suffer from severe issues.

That is not good news at all then. I have transferred the GM position to one of my other characters and moved my mage to another South African guild last night. The problem is still the same on my original guild, but interestingly enough the new guild that I joined, does not have the problem. The guild was created not long ago and they seem to have it all fine, even the leveling of the guild works.

Is there an admin or GM that can assist us in this problem or at least shine some light on the issues please?

Guilds do not have levels in Legion.

Ah, those. Yeah, guild achievements seem broken as well. Especially for guilds created after the launch of 7.3.5 although I have seen it go wrong with guilds older than that as well.

The whole guild mechanic system is just off right now.
