I get kicked for not using launcher but I use the launcher?!why

I get kicked for "Atentie se pare ca nu folositi launcherul nostru! NU POTI JUCA FARA EL! Vei lua kick in 15 secunde. download pe http://www.wow-freakz.com/legion_download. Iar apoi imi spune "you have been disconnected from the server WOW51900319.

Problema e ca eu chiar folosesc launcherul vostru launcher_freakz-735-64 se numeste el. Cealalta problema e ca intru pe linkul mentionat cand imi iau kick(www.wow-freakz.com/legion_download) si acolo e un launcher de 7.2.5. Am incercat si cu launcheru de 32 bits, am sters cache, mi am schimbat parola si problema tot persista. am incercat tot ce am gasit pe site legat de erorile astea. also, problema a aparut dintr-o data, in timpul jocului. Trebuie sa folosesc launcheru de 7.2.5 pe 7.3.5. sau ce?

Hi sniglar,

Open your Task Manager and close all processes related to World of Warcraft and Freakz Launchers, then restart your computer.

If you're using Windows 10, check your Firewall settings, a recent update has caused those to reset for many users, which may cause your launcher to be blocked.


Should that not work, try the following solutions (one by one, not all at once!)
- Redownload the launcher
- Remove the Read Only property from the ENTIRE game folder
- Set all launcher_freakz and WoW executables to run with administrator privileges
- Delete the WTF folder
- Move the WoW client to another location on your hard drive, for example the Desktop (And most importantly, the error tends to happen when it's not on the C: drive)
- Delete launcher_freakz-64.exe, launcher_freakz-64.dll and Wow-64.exe

Make sure to follow all of the steps correctly!

Common mistakes are:

- Not removing read only or only doing so from the Data folder (The not using launcher issue, if client related, comes from Interface and/or WTF)
- Not setting ALL launchers and WoW exes to run as admin, or doing right click and clicking run as admin on the launcher (which would only run the Freakz launcher, but not WoW, as admin, and only once)
- Having the client on a different hard drive or partition than C:\\(Not sure why this causes the problem, as it doesn't do so on every PC, but it was the reason on my Windows 7 laptop for example)

Hello, I know it's an old topic but I encountered the same issue.

I've documented myself before getting you angry, I tried everything that I found on forum. Initially I tried to put the launcher over the old Legion client. Launcher wasn't working but the game yes (using WoW.exe). Didn't worked.

Then I've deleted the whole folder, I've redownloaded the launcher and put it into a new folder (D: partition). Launcher still didn't workd. "Run as administrator" option was checked as well for launcher and the game client .exe. If I run the game indepdently from launcher, I can get logged, even to start playing on character but .. get kicked in 1 minute. I would download the whole game but based on community members statements they still got this problem even using this solution.

I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64bytes.


L.E: I managed to get it working by reinstalling vc_redist64.exe.
