I just recovered my account, my demon hunter came naked.
All of her gear was in the mail and when I try to equip it I get a voice error saying not high enough level to equip that and a screen error that says must be level -9?

The same issue was reported here and happens to some DHs after migration. So please follow the instructions from the post I've linked you (contact the GM that migrated you) and the issue should get solved.
