Last Stand of the Moon Guard

Character name: Emyliaa
Bug description: I started the quest and then the npcs did a small dialogue then teleported me to Meredil. I went inside the cave to Shal'Aran to hand the quest over to First Arcanist Thalyssra, but I found that all the NPCs that used to be there aren't there, including Thalyssra, and from what I gathered this isn't supposed to happen .

The quest is the 1st one in my list and is ready for turn in , and no npcs are in the area except for 1 near the centre .

Edit : I noticed that the NPCs in Evermoon Terrace have disappeared as well for me ( there were 2-3, one of them gave me a quest, which I abandoned later, so he should be offering it again ), so this might be more than just the quest being bugged and something happened to my faction status and quest progression leading to all of them disappearing .

I'm not sure if this is related, but I also noticed yesterday that my friend list was wiped out, maybe all of these are connected somehow .
