Tailoring - Hard Times quest progress

Character name: Zaranmage
Bug description: Mob drop rate seems bugged as the hatecoil fathom-stalkers drop less than the female version of the mob that is supposed to have a lower drop rate. Farmed them for more than an hour with no quest item drop yet. On my second day trying without any luck.

It seems like the mobs that should have the higher chance of dropping the quest item have a much lower drop rate than they should. Most of the kills of them have no loot at all while the other hatecoil tend to have loot most kills. Haven't been able to complete this quest yet and not sure if the drop rate is bugged or my luck is just terrible.

Confirmed.

The Hatecoil Fathom-Stalker doesn't have the questitem in it's loot table at all on our database. Wowhead link.
